The Atlanta Police Department released this bodycam footage of Ryan Coogler being detained after he was mistaken for a bank robber. The ‘Fruitvale Station’ director was handcuffed and taken out of a Bank of America on Jan. 7. He was released from police custody after the officers verified his identity and his Bank of America account. Coogler has been filming ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ the sequel to Marvel’s ‘Black Panther,’ in Atlanta since last summer.
